Facebook-less people

I don’t know if it upsets or intrigues me when people don’t have a Facebook account. Because if I need to talk to them, it’s real simple, but when they don’t have one they’re non-conformist and/or they have a life outside of Facebook. A life outside of Facebook? In today’s world? Wow.

About a beautiful day

It would be such a waste of a beautiful day to be upset about the things that are troubling you.  Understand that you have to suck it up and deal with your crap, but also go outside and enjoy the sunshine.  I love San Diego Sundays.  San Diego people know what I mean.

Life is

as difficult as you make it,

as easy as you make it,

as ordinary as you make it,

as extraordinary as you make it,

as sad as you make it,

as happy as you make it,

as passionless as you make it,

as passionate as you make it,

Life is as you make it, so make of it what you want,

and not from the fear of creating your own reality.

Life is the paradise in your mind,

not of what you can buy with all the money in the world,

for what good is money if

what you seek is peace,

and all you get is regret?

Learn from a woman - be compassionate.

Learn from a man - don’t think or worry too much. 

Think of the one thing that you can’t live without.  You got it?  Now never let it go.

Yeah, you got shafted at some point in life.  When did you start thinking you were immune to problems?

At any time T in life,

be happy with how far you’ve come since time T-1,

enjoy time T,

and look forward to the unknown of time T+1. 

The end of February... thank God

I didn’t know how much more of a crappy month I could handle but it’s finally over.  And I, for one, am so incredibly grateful.  May the bad month contain itself in the past and the best arrive soon.  Very soon.

What a difference time makes

Forget about your problems.

Focus on what you have.

Learn from the past.

Plan better, smile bigger, forge forward.

There are more important and more interesting moments in life than moments of mistakes, but do not discount the valuable lessons to be learned when you fall hard.  Those lessons are priceless and only understood through experience.
